This is the Spring 2024 calendar for UW-Milwaukee Sociocultural Programming. The design for this calendar was proofed from the previous semester in the fall. My job was to set all of the type and fit in all of the images. Throughout this assignment, I got to work on my skills with paragraph and character styles in InDesign.
The first thing I did was take all of the copy from our student copywriters and place it into my InDesign document. I was then able to use my paragraph and character styles to format all of the copy. The last thing I did was text wrap and place all of the images into the document. Once I had all of the copy and images, I moved certain sections around so all of the columns were about the same length and looked cohesive.
