This was a logo I created for UW-Milwaukee's student org, ColorLit. ColorLit is a group for students of different backgrounds to come together and read and enjoy literature from their own backgrounds. They wanted a logo that had pops of color and represented unity. I had to keep in mind the brand standards of the university when creating this. The use of the university’s name and nickname by student organizations is acceptable when following specific guidelines. In general, the university name must come after the club name. Acceptable Examples: Student Org/Club at University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, Student Org/Club at UW-Milwaukee, Student Org/Club at UWM.
